- Conduct research in all disciplines of agriculture including livestock and natural resources in different ecological zones of Gilgit-Baltistan.
- Generate/develop area specific information/technology packages and disseminate to the end users.
- Build capacity of skilled manpower through short and long term trainings.
- Establish and maintain linkages with relevant national, regional and international organizations for sharing germplasm, knowledge, technologies and experiences.
