- Breeding of field crops i.e. cereals, pulses, oilseed, fodder, medicinal and other horticultural crops and conservation of genetic resources.
- To introduce integrated Pest/ Crop Management (IPM/ ICM) tools for field crops and orchards to reduce the use of Pesticides.
- Training/ internships to students of agriculture and growers of major and minor crops.
- Capacity building of different stakeholders for development of agriculture in Pakistan.
- Acquire and disseminate information relating to the agriculture to farmers of local area.
