- To conduct research of national importance in Animal Health and Animal Production.
- To manage and supervise research activities of the different programs.
- To develop linkages for collaborative research with other institutions within and outside the country.
- To organize national and international scientific meetings.
- To work with the farmers and transfer technologies to the end-users.
- To provide consultancy and advisory services to farmers/entrepreneurs and other agencies.
