Advisor to Federal Minister for National Food Security & Research and Former Chairman of PARC Honorable Dr. Yusuf Zafar T.I. Visits PARC-SARC Karachi

Agricultural Centre of PARC at Karachion 24^thOctober2023. Advisor to Federal Minister for National Food Security & Research and Former Chairman of PARC, Honorable Dr. Yusuf Zafar_T.I.  paid a pleasant visit to the Southern-zone. Dr. Zakir Hussain Dahri,Director General, PARC-SARCand Mr. Parwaiz Ahmed Bloch, Director FQSRI warmly welcome the honorable guest. DG, SARC provided a brief account of the ongoing research activities and future plansof the Center. Honorable Dr. Yusuf Zafar recognized the role of SARC in agricultural research in Sindh province and suggested increased liaison and collaboration with Department of Plant Protection in Karachi regarding food quality and safety issues. He further emphasized the dire need for large scale introduction of exotic species of promising horticultural crops in the lower Indus region.
