The Intelligent Project Automation System (iPAS)  is a web-based tool that automates PSDP (Public Sector Development Programme), enables tracking of financial & physical progress of projects, automates releases, allows online submission of PC-Is and supports funds management (re-appropriations, supplementary grants etc.) to facilitate all the stakeholders of development portfolio.The system delivers financial efficiency, automation of manual processes, and minimization of information gaps among all the stakeholders throughout the project life cycle to make project work smoother and enhance management efficiency. The iPAS not only streamlines the processes but also fostered collaboration, data-driven decisions, and strategic planning.

Considering itssignificance, Directorate of PDSP (Planning & Development Division), PARC arranged a training on iPAS on 9^thMay, 2024 in collaboration with the M/o PDSI. The purpose of the training was to train participants about online submission of PC-I, PC-II and PC-III, Working Papers, Position Papers, PSDP project formulation, Budget Management, Monitoring, and Evaluation of PSDP Projects.

A total of 27 Participants including project managers and project team members from different projects being executed by PARCwere participated in the training. Dr. Muhammad Yousuf Khan,Program Director, PSDP(Planning and Development Division), PARC welcomed all participants from different PARC-PSDP Projects and the master trainers on iPAS (Mr. Zafar Iqbal Khanand Ms. NailaArooj) from Ministry of Planning, Development and Special Initiative. In concluding remarks, he highlighted the need for improving the operational capacity of project teams in innovative tools such as iPASfor its critical role not only for seeking approval and fundof PSDP development projects but also its importance for improving project operations, financial management, monitoring and execution of the projects.
