PARC Signs Agreements to Promote Mushroom Cultivation and Sustainable Agriculture Development

A signing ceremony for two Letters of Agreement (LoAs) between the Pakistan Agricultural Research Council (PARC), Pakistan Agriculture & Horticulture Forum (PAHF), and Happiness Foundation Trust (HFT) was held on 11 August 2025 at the office of the Director General, PARC-SARC, Karachi. The agreements aim to provide technical support for establishing a mushroom cultivation facility including trainings, awareness raising and valueadded products. Speaking at this occasion, Dr. Zakir Hussain Dahri, DG SARC highlighted the importance of public-private partnerships in promoting innovative agricultural practices and strengthening the agri-based economy. He appreciated the initiatives of PAHF and HFT and assured PARC’s full technical support for the successful execution of the agreed activities.
