Numerous lines were studied and selected in these trials which were further evaluated and registered as varieties. He was then, directly selected as Assistant Botanist through PPSC and appointed as Assistant Botanist Vegetable atVegetable Research Institute, AARI, Faisalabad-Pakistan from May 2010 to April 2012). His major duties includes, Handled the filial generations and made different cross combinations among genetically diversified exotic and local lines/varieties of okra crop.
Conducted various adaptability trials on cauliflower and coriander in addition to their seed increase.
He was transferred to Wheat Research Institute, AARI, Faisalabad-Pakistan again on April 2012 where he is serving to date. His major duties includes:
Handling of crossing block and hybridization, maintenance of gene pool, pre breeding nurseries, and laces. He was awarded letter of commendation from Secretary agriculture Govt. of Punjab, Lahore for the organizing International & National Seminar on Wheat at AARI. Faisalabad, Feb and Sep. 2006, respectively.
He was awarded Dr. Norman E. Borlaug International Agricultural Science & Technology Fellowship Program in 2013 and worked at CIMMYT Mexico. During Borlaug fellowship he worked on wheat improvement especially emphasized on rust resistance and yield.
Mr. Muhammad Zulkiffal is working in collaboration with national and international institutes. He participated and successfully completed one international and three national professional trainings on wheat and vegetables improvement. On his part there are 18 research papers and 03 proceedings published in national and international journals.
